Aaron takes Inaugral “O.O.” with sub zero display

Although he joined up with the PDGC late in the season, Aaron “A.C.” Clarke has quickly let it be known through his consistent sub-zero play that he’s the guy to beat in town. With the first ever Otonabee Open played this summer, Aaron became part of disc golf history by winning the tourney in style. Two steady rounds gave Aaron a minus 13 overall, keeping him ahead of Clint (two rounds, minus 10) and Otto (minus 6) to take the advanced category honours. In the intermediate grouping another newcomer Kyle shot two even rounds to keep Steve and Karl at bay, both of whom shot plus 2 on the day. A great day was had by all and thanks are in order to Brent’s folks for looking after the phenomenal BBQ and to the numerous hole sponsors who provided for an awe inspiring prize table. The standard has been set and this year’s successful tournament assures the event will continue annually. Thanks to WildRock, Leather Cache, Peterborough Ultimate League, The Night Kitchen, The Benevolent Stranger, The Toy Shop, and Clives Hilltop Bar for kicking in with the swag. See you all next year!
